The Founder

Twelve years.
One quiet operation.

I built one of the most-trusted luxury resale operations in the world. Now I'm teaching a small room of women how to use it.

There are enough bags. There is enough money. There is enough opportunity. The market rewards knowledge not luck.
I built the business before I built the course

I did not learn luxury resale from a course. I learned it by buying, pricing, authenticating and selling thousands of designer bags over the last decade.

I founded Luxe Du Jour in 2016 and have since generated more than $80 million in luxury resale sales, serving buyers and sellers around the world.

Today, my team buys, consigns, prices and sells hundreds of luxury pieces every month.

Why I built the Academy

For years, people around me asked the same questions. What should I buy? What should I pay? What can I sell it for? Where do I source? Where do I sell? Is there actually enough profit in this deal?

I realized there was a huge gap between how consumers buy luxury and how professional resellers evaluate it. When I started teaching friends and family what I knew, they began buying differently. Some flipped bags for profit. Some became resellers. Others simply became smarter luxury buyers.

I built LRA to make that knowledge accessible.

Why teach people who could become competitors?

Because I believe there are enough bags, enough money and enough opportunity for all of us. New resellers are entering this industry every day whether I teach them or not. I would rather help create better, more knowledgeable operators who can participate in the ecosystem with us.

You do not have to compete with Luxe Du Jour. You can leverage Luxe Du Jour and other resale platforms to source, consign, buy, sell and build relationships. A reseller today can be tomorrow's buyer, supplier, consignor, client or business partner. That is how I see the future of this industry.

Pre-owned is the new new

There are millions of designer bags already sitting in closets around the world, with more entering the market every year. And one bag does not have one transaction in its lifetime. It can be bought, worn, sold, bought again and resold across different cities, countries and platforms.

That movement creates opportunity. The people who understand what to buy, what to pay, how to authenticate it, where to source it and where to sell it have an advantage.

What I believe
  • There are enough bags, enough money and enough opportunity for all of us.
  • You make your money when you buy the right acquisition price creates the opportunity for profit.
  • Capital should move. Realized profit and speed matter more than impressive margins sitting in unsold inventory.
  • Knowledge creates opportunity. A beautiful bag is not necessarily a good deal data changes the decision.
  • The future of luxury is connected. Buyers, sellers, resellers, platforms and consignors can make money by doing business with one another.

Used is the new new. And I believe we are still early. If that resonates, I'd like to meet you.
